A pentagram
is a five-pointed star. It is the shape formed by the diagonals
of a regular pentagon. It is also the approximate shape of a starfish.
The pentagram can be constructed by connecting alternate vertices
of a pentagon. It can also be constructed as a stellation of a pentagon,
by extending the edges of a pentagon until the lines intersect.
