A positive number is any number greater than zero. On a number
line positive number corresponds to any number to the right
of the zero mark.
Positive numbers may be denoted by a plus
sign to distinguish them from negative numbers, but it is
often left out.
For example, +3, +2.4, +5892 are positive
while -3, -2.4, and -5892 are negative.
