Question: What is Self Inverse ?

Answer:

When an element combines with itself to produce the identity element it is said to be self-inverse. For example,

-1 x -1 = 1.

A reflection when repeated gives the identity transformation, and the function x__> 1 - x when combined with itself gives the identity function, so these are also said to be self-inverse.
