A solid is the
mathematical term for a rigid three-dimensional shape. In other
words, A three dimensional figure having length, breadth and height.
The atoms or molecules which compose the solid are packed
closely together. Solids have thermal energy so that their atoms
vibrate. However, this movement is very small and cannot
be observed or felt under ordinary conditions.
